You can chose a fully-equipped cottage for four on the more remote southern end of the island for €400 a week in high season. It will offer a marvellous view of the Blaskets from the front window, while from a side window you look directly out over the Skelligs.

There are about 10 large Bed and Breakfast Accommodation available on the island. The most popular one being, Carrig Liath House overlooking the fishing village of Portmagee, this Valentia stone house enjoys views of the sea, islands and Kerry Mountains. It offers large rooms with sea views and free Wi-Fi. The famous Ring of Kerry is a 15-minute drive away.

Carraig Liath House offers tastefully decorated rooms with orthopaedic beds and work desks. Each includes a hospitality tray with free tea and coffee. Bathrooms come with hairdryers.

Valentia Island Caravan and Camping is a family friendly park, situated on the WILD ATLANTIC WAY and just 400m from Knightstown village.

They are Irelands most South Westerly park lying off the Iveragh Peninsula in the south west of Kerry, making it an ideal base for exploring the Islands natural beauty.
